Job Overview

Position Summary:
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Logistics and Inventory Specialist at BMW of North Haven. We are in search of a meticulous and dependable full-time professional to manage the shipping and receiving operations.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch, reception, and cataloging of all incoming and outgoing components and vehicles. Your commitment to delivering outstanding customer service will be crucial in fostering a positive experience for our clientele.


Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17 to $20, with weekly payments. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, flexible scheduling, and avenues for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and package outgoing components, materials, and vehicles for delivery.
  • Track shipping times and delivery statuses, providing timely updates to relevant parties.
  • Receive incoming shipments, ensuring quality and quantity are verified and logged into the receiving system.
  • Label packages, pallets, and boxes appropriately for shipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and organization.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of all shipments.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment and software.
  • Capability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
