Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including interviewing and hiring HR team members, establishing and maintaining contact with external recruitment sources, and attending job fairs.
  • Administer and educate employees on benefits, including unemployment claims, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement employee development programs, including new hire orientation, cross-training, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Maintain effective employee communication channels, including developing daily communications and assisting with regularly scheduled property-wide meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies, including property removal, lost and found items, bloodborne pathogens, accident reporting, and hygiene.
  • Represent Human Resources at the property Safety Committee and help identify ways to create awareness of the importance of safety in the workplace.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in human resources, management operations, or a related field.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in human resources, business administration, or a related major; 1 year of experience in human resources, management operations, or a related field.

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $71,000 to $91,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus program, health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, and more.
