Job Overview

POSITION:

As a Floating Financial Services Representative, you will embody the values of QNB Bank by delivering exceptional service in a professional and courteous manner. Your role will involve efficiently processing a variety of financial transactions while adhering to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies. You will travel to various branches to support staff and ensure seamless operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Exemplify QNB's Service and Sales initiatives with enthusiasm, ensuring that both goals and quality standards are consistently met.
  2. Foster strong customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate service and engaging in consultative selling to meet customer needs.
  3. Promote and cross-sell bank products, directing customers to the appropriate departments as necessary.
  4. Execute financial transactions accurately, maintaining a balanced cash drawer or Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) at the end of each day.
  5. Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the Financial Services Representative role.
  6. Build rapport with customers through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of QNB products and actively support service and sales initiatives.
  8. Complete compliance training promptly and apply the knowledge to your daily responsibilities.
  9. Engage with the community through participation in local volunteer or charitable activities.
  10. Be available during all branch operating hours, including weekends and holidays.
  11. Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed, including working at any branch location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially throughout the entire workday.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to positively represent QNB Bank to both internal and external customers.
  3. Completion of required training and product knowledge within the first six months of employment.
  4. Capability to lift and manage coin bags weighing between 25-50 pounds.
  5. Effective communication skills that align with QNB's sales strategies, identifying and addressing customer needs.
  6. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are essential; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  7. Adhere to QNB's compliance standards in operations and security, following government regulations and established procedures.
  8. Successfully complete Banking Fundamentals within the first 18 months of employment, achieving a grade of C or higher.
  9. Meet annual re-certification requirements for Financial Services Representatives.
  10. This position may require compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations, with ongoing employment contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
