Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Terranea. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality pastry and dessert products for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare pastry and dessert products for our restaurants, room service, and banquets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to review assignments, anticipate business levels, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist with inventory management, plating up banquets, and performing duties in other areas of the kitchen as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Pastry Cook in a quality hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Food handling certificate and high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
