About the Role

Altius Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients in the Equipment Finance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through daily prospecting and lead generation efforts.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including regular communication and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and growth.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify areas of competition and potential new markets that can maximize the volume and earnings of the direct corporate EF portfolio.
  • Transaction Structuring: Structure equipment transactions ranging from $50k to $500k on average, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the pipeline of financing opportunities, keeping personal pipeline current and up-to-date on the stage of movement within the pipeline.
  • Account Management: Visit accounts and prospects to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute database marketing initiatives to generate new business opportunities.
  • Transaction Analysis and Pricing: Work with management to analyze, price, and structure transactions, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Assist in managing the customer relationship from initial contact to transaction award, credit underwriting, and funding.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Business-to-Business Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a strong understanding of the Equipment Finance industry.
  • Finance and Accounting Knowledge: Highly skilled and proficient in most aspects of finance, with a strong understanding of equipment finance marketplace.
  • BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics: Preferred degree emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce: Proficient in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to Travel: Ability to travel as needed to build relationships and attend meetings.
