Position Overview: Reporting to the Regional Director of Maintenance, the Regional Fleet Operations Supervisor will oversee the following responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience with tractors, trailers, and forklifts.
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a shop environment.
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Experience managing budgets effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of Class 8 truck and trailer repair.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations for all equipment types within the designated region.
- Conduct overnight travel to various facilities for training and compliance audits.
- Manage up to nine shop facilities, ensuring adherence to company and departmental goals while complying with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the organization, planning, and goal-setting for preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Motivate and maintain productivity among multiple shop staff.
- Conduct interviews, hire, coach, counsel, and administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance in managing the region's maintenance parts, supplies, and tire inventories.
- Guide shop managers and supervisors in achieving goals and enhancing staff productivity.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to prepare reports and analyze operational data.
- Employ in-house computer programs to generate service and inspection due lists.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 annually
Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Day shift, Monday to Friday
