We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our team at Seakeeper Inc. As a key member of our Sales and Support team, you will be responsible for driving our Seakeeper Ride Aftermarket business in the Carolinas region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Regional Sales Strategy: Assist in creating and executing a regional sales strategy to increase market share and drive business growth.
- Build and Maintain Dealer Relationships: Identify new business partnerships and opportunities with dealers, and manage existing relationships to increase model integration and sales.
- Support Sales and Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with marketing to create co-op marketing plans and attend dealer events to promote the Seakeeper Ride brand.
- Manage Dealer Contacts and CRM: Maintain accurate and up-to-date dealer contacts in our internal CRM system, NetSuite.
- Travel and Account Visits: Conduct regular account visits and attend industry-related events to build relationships and drive sales.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field: A degree in business or a related field is required.
- Minimum 1 Year of Sales Experience: A minimum of one year of experience selling to dealers or distributors in a sales-related role is required.
- Marine Technical Experience: A demonstrated understanding of vessel systems operations and a passion for the marine industry is preferred.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, and an empathetic style are essential.
- Strong Presentation and Writing Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent presentation skills, are required.
- CRM Experience: Experience using a CRM system, such as NetSuite, or a similar related system is preferred.
- Mass Distribution and MAP Policies: Experience with mass distribution and MAP policies is a plus.
