Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our campus facilities. This role involves supervising a team of grounds crew members, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all yard equipment, including minor tune-ups, oil changes, and blade sharpening.
- Perform routine ground maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing.
- Supervise employees and ensure they follow safety guidelines and protocols.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as building fires or security breaches.
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in grounds maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to work harmoniously with residents and staff.
