Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the operation, supervision, and performance of the Quincy soybean Extraction Plants on their assigned shift. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct team members to achieve site goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule team members, including vacation time, and ensure cross-training to maintain safe and efficient performance.
  • Communicate shift performance, downtime issues, and Root Cause analysis results to stakeholders.
  • Direct daily production and maintenance activities, and report defects and needed repairs via Maximo work requests.
  • Lead team in achieving Zero recordable/lost time injuries, and manage training and coaching for shift personnel.
Requirements
  • Prior experience leading/supervising people.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and able to self-monitor with minimal oversight.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills.
  • Results-driven to provide support to achieve leadership-established goals.
