Position Overview:

Service excellence is the cornerstone of our values at Breckenridge Ski Resort, and our retail personnel embody this experience of a lifetime. As a pivotal member of our Retail Management team, you will provide exceptional customer service and operational support, representing our brand and culture within our retail outlets, ready to assist customers with inquiries and offer premium products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, tracking performance and budget, including scheduling and payroll; serve as manager-on-duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Maintain daily records related to performance, sales metrics, inventory management, and equipment rentals (if applicable).
  • Recruit and train staff on POS system usage, product knowledge, customer service, rental procedures, and loss prevention policies.
  • Evaluate team performance and behavior to provide constructive feedback and guidance, recognizing achievements or addressing necessary corrections.
  • Stay informed on product knowledge and deliver outstanding customer service through prompt responses to inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and acknowledgments.
  • Engage in leadership forums to provide insights and feedback on store performance, training, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including specialized areas such as merchandising and rentals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; business-related training or education preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail supervision; experience in the ski industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of RPOS is highly recommended.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, multitasking and managing multiple customer interactions.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must possess fluent communication skills in English.

The anticipated pay range is $25 - $27 per hour. This range reflects our reasonable expectations for this position. Individual compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
