Job Overview:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service aligned with company standards, driving sales, merchandising, and protecting company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the store department and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Generate sales while upholding a professional standard of guest service.
  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the store.
  • Analyze sales trends and develop strategies for growth.
  • Manage retail and rental inventory control, striving to meet or exceed inventory targets.
  • Enforce cash handling policies and loss prevention measures.
  • Supervise the sales floor team and the rental process.
  • Act as a mentor, training and guiding the sales team through effective communication.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests.
  • Ensure accurate and current pricing, including promotions.
  • Restock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail sales is required.
  • Experience in the snow sports industry is preferred.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary for effective communication with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of products and trends within the industry.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Compensation: The expected pay range for this position is $24.26 per hour. Individual compensation decisions will be based on various factors.
