Position Overview:

Service excellence is the cornerstone of our values at Breckenridge Ski Resort, and our retail staff exemplify this commitment. As a key player in delivering high-quality customer service and store support, our Retail Management team serves as knowledgeable ambassadors of our brand and culture, ready to assist customers with inquiries and provide premium products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, tracking performance and budget, including scheduling and payroll; act as the manager-on-duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Maintain daily records for performance, sales metrics, inventory management, and equipment rentals (if applicable).
  • Recruit and train staff in POS system usage, product knowledge, customer service, rental procedures, and loss prevention strategies.
  • Evaluate team performance and behavior to offer constructive feedback and guidance, providing recognition or corrective action as needed.
  • Stay informed on product knowledge and deliver outstanding customer service through prompt responses to customer inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and recognition.
  • Engage in leadership forums to provide insights and feedback on store performance, training, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including specialized areas such as merchandising and rentals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Business training or education preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail supervision; experience in the ski industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of RPOS is highly recommended.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, multitask, and manage multiple customers.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

The expected pay range is $25 - $27 per hour. This range reflects our reasonable expectations for this position. Individual compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
