Position Overview:

Service excellence is the cornerstone of our values at Breckenridge Ski Resort, and our retail team members exemplify this commitment. Responsible for delivering top-tier customer service and operational support, our Retail Management personnel are well-informed ambassadors of our brand and culture within our retail locations, prepared to assist with any inquiries and provide premium merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring performance and budget compliance, including staff scheduling and payroll; serve as the acting manager in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Maintain daily records related to performance, sales metrics, inventory management, and equipment rentals (if applicable).
  • Recruit and train staff on POS system usage, product knowledge, customer service, rental procedures, and loss prevention protocols.
  • Evaluate team performance and behavior to provide constructive feedback and guidance, recognizing achievements or addressing areas for improvement as necessary.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and deliver exceptional customer service through prompt responses to inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and acknowledgments.
  • Engage in leadership forums to provide insights and feedback on store performance, training, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including specialized areas such as merchandising and rentals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; training or education in business preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail supervision; experience in the ski industry is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of RPOS is highly recommended.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, multitasking and managing multiple customer interactions.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must possess fluent communication skills in English.

The anticipated pay range is $25 - $27 per hour. This range reflects the compensation we expect for this role. Individual compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
