The Chicago Magic Lounge is renowned for its captivating live magic shows and exceptional dining experience. Our establishment is dedicated to providing an unforgettable atmosphere and outstanding service to our guests every night of the week. The General Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the comprehensive operations of Food & Beverage and Patron Services, which encompasses staff management, inventory control, scheduling, and financial oversight. This position demands strong leadership capabilities to guide a dynamic team of 40 employees.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in managing restaurants and bars,
- Exceptional customer service abilities,
- A valid Food Protection Manager certification from the relevant authorities,
- Basset training and certification to conduct training within the state,
- A high level of proficiency with Point of Sale systems, employee scheduling, payroll, and financial management,
- Recent training in De-escalation and Sexual Harassment Prevention.
- Additional advantageous skills may include bilingualism (English and Spanish), theater management experience, and familiarity with ticketing systems.
COMPENSATION: The annual salary is $65,000, with benefits included, and is commensurate with experience.
