Behavioral Aide II

Join Point Quest Group as a Behavioral Aide II and contribute to the success of our students with special needs. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to students with autism, ADHD, emotional disturbance, and other disabilities.
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to assist teachers in providing instructional and behavioral support to students with disabilities. As a Behavioral Aide II, you will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans, monitor student conduct, and provide positive reinforcement to promote appropriate behaviors.
Responsibilities:- Support instruction to individuals or small groups of students with special needs
- Monitor student conduct and utilize approved behavior management techniques to redirect and modify inappropriate behaviors
- Administer one-on-one ABA-based Intensive Behavior Intervention methods to designated students in a school setting
- Implement documented Behavior Support Plans
- Monitor, observe, and report behavioral data of students according to approved procedures
- Assist students by providing appropriate modeling, emotional support, a friendly attitude, and general guidance
- Conduct record review of student data and communicate with teachers, parents, and assigned staff regarding student progress
- High School Diploma
- Experience working in a school or treatment setting for students with learning, social, emotional, or mental disabilities
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
- Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certification helpful
- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
- Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
