Job Title: Part Time Behavioral Aide II

Job Summary:

EdLogical Group Corp is seeking a Part Time Behavioral Aide II to join our team. As a Behavioral Aide II, you will assist in the supervision and instruction of students with special needs, providing individualized support and behavioral interventions to promote learning and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support instruction to individuals or small groups of students with special needs
  • Monitor student conduct and utilize approved behavior management techniques to redirect and modify inappropriate behaviors
  • Administer one-on-one ABA-based Intensive Behavior Intervention methods to designated students in a school setting
  • Implement documented Behavior Support Plans
  • Monitor, observe and report behavioral data of students according to approved procedures
  • Assist students by providing appropriate modeling, emotional support, a friendly attitude, and general guidance
  • Communicate with teachers, parents, and assigned staff regarding student progress
  • Assist students in learning proper social awareness and in developing independence

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in a school or treatment setting for students with learning, social, emotional, or mental disabilities
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
  • Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certification helpful

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
  • Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
