Role Summary:

This role is part of Deutsche Bank's Risk division within the Americas Chief Risk Office (CRO) COO team. You will assist the CRO COO team in various capacities to directly support the Americas Chief Risk Officer and the CRO Leadership team. Your responsibilities will include addressing regulatory risk matters that affect multiple Risk divisions and ensuring the successful execution of Regulatory programs. You will collaborate with the CRO Americas team on priority projects, internal and external preparations, communications, and escalations to ensure effective management of regulatory risks in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the CRO COO team with diverse tasks including Business Management, Governance, and Regulatory Oversight as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the CRO Americas team on key initiatives, ensuring effective communication and management of regulatory interactions and requests.
  • Support various Risk divisions in the preparation and management of regulatory examinations in the U.S.
  • Oversee Regulatory Compliance activities in the U.S., including reviewing new regulations and announcements from regulatory bodies to ensure Risk areas are adapting to regulatory expectations in policies and procedures.
  • Monitor open and overdue findings to ensure timely delivery against remediation commitments.
  • Prepare and review materials for the maintenance of the Remediation Governance Framework.
Required Skills:
  • Moderate experience in the financial sector with a foundational understanding of Risk types including Market, Credit, Non-Financial, Model, and Liquidity Risk.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and SharePoint.
  • Solid undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to build relationships across divisions and regions.
  • Project Management skills beneficial for overseeing remediation projects.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new information.
  • Self-starter attitude is advantageous.
