Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UF Health Shands. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist attending physicians in the care and management of patients on inpatient units within the hospital.
- Make patient rounds, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and interact with consultants.
- Facilitate and coordinate the scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Make frequent bedside visits to assess patient status and direct care accordingly.
- See patients in the clinic environment and provide diagnostic and therapeutic healthcare coverage.
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and clear license as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Florida.
- BLS certification.
- Acute Care ARNP or PA experience.
- ICU experience.
- Emergency Medicine experience.
