We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UF Health Shands. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist attending physicians in the care and management of patients on Inpatient units, Emergency Department, and Clinic environments.
- Conduct patient rounds, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and interact with consultants as needed.
- Facilitate and coordinate scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Make frequent bedside visits to assess patient status and direct care accordingly.
- Consult with supervisory physicians to determine most appropriate care for patients.
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and clear license as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Florida.
- BLS certification required.
- Acute Care ARNP or PA experience preferred.
This position will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
