Facilities Management Operations Leader

Position Overview: We are seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of facilities and grounds, specifically supporting a key government agency. This role is vital in delivering a range of base operations support services across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of all operational activities related to facilities services.
- Oversee project management related to facilities sustainment, restoration, and modernization, including proposal development and execution.
- Manage installation and maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and communicate performance expectations to the team.
- Establish effective relationships with stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment.
- Identify opportunities for improving service delivery processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to legal obligations and health and safety guidelines.
- Monitor service delivery procedures and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and conduct analyses to enhance contract performance.
- Engage with clients for feedback and support audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information.
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse teams.
- Experience in high-pressure environments with short notice requirements.
- Familiarity with labor relations and managing service employees under relevant regulations.
- Proficient in building management systems and software.
- Professional Engineer license or industry-recognized facility management certification is preferred.
