Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our team at Black Bear Technology Solutions, LLC. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in the development and implementation of effective policies and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and advice to senior leaders on policy analysis, formulation processes, and strategy development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry experts.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions and recommendations.
  • Prepare written products, including reports, briefs, and presentations, for senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in policy analysis, policy formulation processes, or strategy development.
  • Experience interacting at the most senior levels of government and industry.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to prepare written products for senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher-level education in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in OSD, Joint Staff, Service level, or 24-star level Command experience in OIE.
  • Experience with drafting, editing, or coordinating input for legislative or policy proposals.
