Job Summary

ANSER is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense Programs (OASD(NCB)) in Arlington, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting Support: Provide administrative support to the Biodefense Council, including RSVP tracking, note taking, task tracking, briefing book development, file maintenance, etc.
  • Calendar Management: Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the Biodefense Council, including conference room reservations and setup.
  • Workplan Development: Support the development and maintenance of workplans for the Biodefense Council.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate Biodefense Governance taskings within the OASD(NCB), as needed.
  • Protocol Development: Establish protocols and standard operating procedures for Biodefense Council products, such as read-aheads, meeting agendas, talking points, etc.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience OR 9+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess exceptional organizational skills.
  • DoD Experience: Experience working with and briefing senior DoD leaders.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with the MS365 Suite, including Teams and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Biodefense Experience: Experience working biodefense efforts within the DoD.
  • DoD Governance Experience: Experience working in support of DoD Governance bodies.
  • CATMS Experience: Experience using the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
  • Meeting Administration: Experience with the administration and management of senior-level meetings.
