Position Overview
SAIC is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to provide essential support for the DoD CIO Functional Community Support Services within the DoD Workforce Innovation Directorate (WID). This role necessitates a deep understanding of Human Capital management policies, strategic frameworks, and the development of processes and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the revision, creation, and dissemination of DCWF materials in collaboration with the DoD CIO and relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the formulation and updating of role-based terminal learning objectives.
- Conduct research and offer analytical insights to define current cyberspace workforce qualification standards.
- Ensure that advanced cyber training and certification initiatives adhere to industry-leading practices and benchmarks.
- Provide expertise in workforce and organizational development to validate content and methodologies.
- Deliver specialized knowledge to craft recommendation materials that support the implementation of a framework for the DoD Cyber Workforce.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in cyber workforce development to advocate for DoD interests by engaging with subject matter experts in international and interagency forums.
- Facilitate the progression of DoD Cyber functional initiatives, including education, training, and exchange programs aimed at enhancing workforce professional growth.
- Perform environmental assessments to identify ongoing or upcoming cyber evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to draft or amend supplementary guidance and communication materials that aid in the formulation or revision of cyber workforce policies and associated documents.
- Engage with academic institutions through outreach efforts to foster collaboration between DoD and academia in the realms of cyber and IT operations.
- Utilize established connections with Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) and Senior Military Colleges (SMC) to organize community practice meetings, share successful programs, and discuss lessons learned.
Qualifications
Clearance Requirements:
- Secret clearance is mandatory to commence.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least three (3) years of experience.
- Experience in Human Capital Management focusing on Policy and Strategy.
- Proficiency in process and capability development.
- Experience in providing support services.
- Familiarity with data analytics.
- Expertise in industrial organization.
- Preferred experience working with DoD staff.
