Upon successful completion of the probationary period, employees will receive a wage increase.

Shift Differential:

Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked

Part-Time and Half-Time Employees:

Eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked

Position Overview:

The Slot Supervisor is responsible for achieving the objectives of the Slot Department by supporting senior management in the daily oversight of operations. This role ensures that services meet and exceed customer expectations while adhering to established policies and regulations. Compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, including the Tribal State Compact and Gaming Ordinance, is essential for Slot operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all patrons and stakeholders, maintaining effective relationships and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Slot Department staff, participating in management activities and ensuring personnel policies are effectively implemented.
  • Collaborate with Slot Department personnel to ensure resources are available for operational responsibilities.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all Gaming personnel and customers, ensuring adherence to established procedures for maximum understanding and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold quality service delivery standards.
  • Enhance guest experiences by providing positive service, answering inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Assist in the establishment and communication of departmental goals, objectives, and policies in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Supervise staff activities, including evaluations, scheduling, training, and motivation.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication regarding departmental activities.
  • Maintain necessary controls for Slot operations and safeguard departmental assets.
  • Document customer inquiries and concerns as needed and provide detailed shift reports to management.
  • Monitor potential issues related to security and safety, presenting solutions as necessary.
  • Complete payroll reports and maintain inventory supply forms.
  • Conduct investigations of alleged infractions and follow up with necessary training or disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to promote slot winners and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through research, seminars, and networking.
  • Continuously assess work performance for improvement opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of departmental functions, objectives, and policies.
  • Experience in supervising, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle.
  • Insurance and Driver Safety Training required.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of weights between 11-24 pounds.
  • Evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Work environment may not be smoke-free with moderate noise levels.
  • Travel may be necessary.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Experience:

  • Customer service or hospitality experience is essential.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is required.
