Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Rally Hotel, a dynamic and fast-paced hotel located in the heart of Denver's downtown area. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with hotel staff, guests, and vendors to ensure that maintenance needs are met and that guests have a positive experience.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum four years of experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or building maintenance.
  • Skills: Basic working knowledge of general plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical systems, boilers, bathroom fixtures, and tiling and painting.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to read written communiques, LED read-outs, meters, and computer screens; ability to pull levers and rotate knobs, work with arms raised above head, and handle and assemble small parts using basic hand and power tools.
