As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to maintenance requests, conducting preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve guest maintenance requests promptly.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and well-lubricated.
- Identify and operate shut-off valves for all equipment and utilities.
- Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary.
- Communicate daily activities and any issues to the next shift using established protocols.
Technical Skills:
You should possess a foundational understanding or the ability to learn about:
- HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
- Basic repair techniques for equipment and appliances.
- General building maintenance and energy conservation practices.
- Execute surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs effectively.
Additional Duties:
- Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system for safety during maintenance tasks.
- Conduct landscaping repairs and manage sprinkler systems.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature adjustments.
Workplace Standards:
- Adhere to all safety and security policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of company information.
- Foster positive relationships with team members and support collective goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in general maintenance preferred, especially in hospitality settings.
- Valid driver's license is required.
