#CISO

The Cyber Defense Analyst serves as a technical expert in cybersecurity, equipped with operational skills to swiftly respond to evolving threats, making informed decisions to safeguard our customers. Cyber Defense professionals collaborate with technology teams to maintain an Information System environment devoid of significant vulnerabilities and develop security services tailored to our business needs.

This role focuses on the Markets Business and necessitates close collaboration with Cyber Security Operations units (e.g., Security Operations Center, Cyber Security Fusion Center, Cyber Intelligence Center), Information Security Organization (e.g., Cyber Risk Analysts, Cyber Architecture Analysts, Information Security Officers), and other stakeholders, including Application/Technology Managers and business Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business/Tech personnel on GEM and VTM remediation efforts.
  • Conduct pre-production security assessments and proactive risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Partner with Cyber Architects to develop design patterns for business-specific scenarios.
  • Work alongside ISOs on CAP management.
  • Assist CSFC in evaluating the business impact of cyber incidents and facilitate business/tech activities during the cyber incident response lifecycle.
  • Support the Cyber-Exercise Team in planning, executing, and resolving lessons learned from exercises.
  • Promote cyber awareness within business/tech and act as a liaison between CFSC Client & Engagement (C&E) and business/tech in delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Engage in client meetings, tours, and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Information Security.
  • 2 years of experience in penetration testing.
  • Proficiency in application security reviews, vulnerability assessments, or penetration testing.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of Information Security principles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Proven skills in influencing and managing relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).

In this position, the Cyber Defense Analyst oversees multiple security functions for the Markets Business, including Vulnerability Operations, pre-production security evaluations, proactive threat hunting, security incident response, cybersecurity exercises, and collaboration with Citi's Cyber Fusion Center, Cyber Intelligence Center, and Client Security Services.
