Join Our Dynamic Team
We are looking for a seasoned security expert to enhance our Security Operations Center (SOC) team as a Senior Security Operations Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of proactively identifying and mitigating advanced threats and vulnerabilities within our network infrastructure. Your expertise in security tools and incident management will be essential in recognizing and investigating suspicious activities, thereby fortifying our security framework.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Scrutinize network traffic, system logs, and various security data sources to detect potential indicators of compromise (IOCs) and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Employ threat intelligence resources and advanced analytical techniques to uncover emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Record and escalate security incidents following established protocols.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts to provide direction and support during incident response operations.
- Propose enhancements to security tools and processes to improve overall threat detection and prevention capabilities.
- Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities through ongoing education and participation in security communities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security operations, threat hunting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in incident response triage and investigation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security tools and technologies, including SIEM/SOAR platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and ticketing systems.
- Strong grasp of network security principles, operating systems, and malware analysis techniques.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Required in-office presence for three days a week, with two days remote.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security automation and scripting languages.
- Relevant security certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud security environments.
