The Cyber Defense Analyst is a technical expert in cybersecurity with operational skills to swiftly respond to the evolving threat landscape, making informed decisions to safeguard our clients. Cyber Defense professionals collaborate with various technology sectors to maintain an Information System environment that is free from significant vulnerabilities while developing security services tailored to our business needs.

This position focuses on the Markets Business and necessitates close collaboration with Cyber Security Operations units (e.g., Security Operations Center, Cyber Security Fusion Center, Cyber Intelligence Center), the Information Security Organization (e.g., Cyber Risk Analysts, Cyber Architecture Analysts, Information Security Officers), and other stakeholders, including Application/Technology Managers and Enterprise Resiliency teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business/Tech staff on GEM and VTM remediation efforts.
  • Conduct pre-production security assessments and proactive risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Partner with Cyber Architects to develop design patterns for business-specific use cases.
  • Assist Information Security Officers with CAP management.
  • Support the Cyber Security Fusion Center in assessing the business impact of cyber incidents and drive related activities in the incident response lifecycle.
  • Aid the Cyber-Exercise Team in planning, executing, and resolving lessons learned from exercises.
  • Promote cyber awareness within business/tech and serve as a liaison between CFSC Client & Engagement and business/tech in delivering client-focused products.
  • Participate in and support client meetings, tours, and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Information Security.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in penetration testing.
  • Experience in application security reviews, vulnerability assessments, or penetration testing.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of Information Security principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
  • Proven skills in influencing and managing relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).
