ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a key member of the TalentMovers team, the Recruiter will focus on sourcing and securing talent for hourly positions. This role involves a variety of activities aimed at enhancing our recruitment process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the recruitment lifecycle for hourly roles, including:
o Crafting and updating job descriptions and postings as necessary.
o Conducting recruitment activities such as posting job openings, interviewing candidates, extending offers, and facilitating pre-employment processes.
o Organizing job fairs, school presentations, and facility tours to attract potential candidates.
o Maintaining accurate records of applicants and vacancies using the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Excel, and other relevant tools.
o Providing hiring recommendations based on established criteria and qualifications.
o Assisting candidates with job applications, electronic offer acceptance, background checks, drug test scheduling, and onboarding documentation.
o Implementing retention strategies and managing EBI (I-9) expiration processes.

• Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, phone communication, photocopying, faxing, and filing.

• Support employees with inquiries and assistance as needed.

• Compile, update, and generate reports for audits and other HR metrics.

• Assist in organizing training sessions, presentations, and events, including the creation of PowerPoint materials and room arrangements.

• Provide backup support to other HR team members as required.

• Participate in HR committees to enhance departmental presence and support.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

• Take personal responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, integrating safety and health considerations into all tasks.

QUALITY ASSURANCE:

• Follow quality work practices, comply with GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality. Report any conditions that may negatively impact food safety and quality.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Availability to work overtime and on holidays as needed.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards at all times.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• An Associate degree (AA) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management is preferred.

• Previous experience in HR and clerical roles is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.

• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Word and Excel, with knowledge of PowerPoint being beneficial.

• Strong follow-up, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities efficiently to meet business demands.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Professionalism in handling personnel matters, including the maintenance of confidential information.

• A current and valid driver's license is preferred.

• Familiarity with ATS and/or HRIS systems is desirable.
