Case Manager - Homeless Services

We are partnering with Harris County to find a compassionate Case Manager to support individuals experiencing homelessness. This role involves working directly with clients in various settings, including shelters, encampments, and their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits and engage with clients in diverse environments, building trust and rapport.
  • Assess eligibility for government grant programs designed to assist individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Manage a caseload of clients who may face various challenges, including mental health issues, criminal backgrounds, substance abuse, and youth aging out of foster care.
  • Apply your knowledge effectively to support clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience with HMIS systems is preferred.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in time management, decision-making, and communication.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry.
