Job Title: Senior Staff Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Job Type: Direct Hire, Hybrid

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000

Position Overview:

The Senior Staff Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives by bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes and an ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and objectives to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and propose innovative solutions that align with business goals, leveraging data analytics, process modeling, and technology capabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decision-making, including identifying trends, patterns, and areas for optimization.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external partners to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • Create detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to improve business processes and systems, ensuring the organization remains agile and responsive to changing market conditions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Ensure all solutions and processes comply with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field, with at least a senior or lead role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
    • Experience with project management software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
    • Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other enterprise-level software.
    • Experience with ServiceNow.
    • Experience with IT asset management projects (hardware/software).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
