Fitness Center Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at Planet Fitness. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our members, and contributing to the overall success of our fitness centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Enforce the Judgement Free Zone, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Manage front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and handling new member sign-ups.
- Take prospective members on tours, showcasing our facilities and services.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts, respond to member questions and concerns, and elevate issues to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Complete assigned cleaning areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Promote sales of tanning lotions and memberships, driving revenue growth.
- Build connections with the community, fostering partnerships and collaborations.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- A passion for fitness and health.
- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- Experience in sales.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
- Strong listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize and demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- CPR Certification AED/First Aid/CPR required.
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual talking in person or on the club phone during shift.
- Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
