Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at San Ysidro Health Center. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless patient registration, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register new patients, gather demographic information, and verify insurance coverage
  • Assist patients with obtaining services, provide information on funding eligibility, and resolve customer inquiries
  • Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve patient access issues
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with internal and external personnel, and maintain a positive attitude
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of customer service experience or successful completion of internship at San Ysidro Health Center preferred
  • Bilingual (Tagalog-English) required; good handwriting and verbal communication skills essential
  • Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to organizational changes
Working Conditions

This is a hourly position with a minimum hiring rate of $25.03 and maximum hiring rate of $35.69. The ideal candidate will be able to work evenings and/or weekends or clinics outside of assigned clinic.
