Job Summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading education initiatives, developing and implementing staff development programs, and mentoring colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to nursing staff to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and deliver education programs
  • Conduct competency assessments and evaluations to ensure staff meet clinical standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in nursing education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, with 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience
  • Previous experience as an educational nursing instructor is preferred
  • Current Vermont RN licensure and/or Advanced Practice licensure in Vermont
  • Unit-specific training certifications as required per department operational framework
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • Specialty certification in Nursing Professional Development and 1 unit-specific certification preferred or obtained within two years of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • 7 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, with 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience
  • Previous experience designing, facilitating, and validating education or training experiences
  • Fully proficient in all areas covered in Basic Integrated Nursing General Orientation
  • Proficient in EMR applications, workflows, and documentation practices
Compensation

$58.20 per hour
