Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement education programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify education needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to nursing staff to support their professional development.
- Conduct competency assessments to ensure nursing staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and incorporate this knowledge into education programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, with 3 years of department/unit/specialty-specific experience.
- Previous experience as an educational nursing instructor is preferred.
- Current Vermont RN licensure and/or Advanced Practice licensure in Vermont.
- Unit-specific training certifications as required per specific department operational framework.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
- Specialty certification in Nursing Professional Development and 1 unit-specific certification preferred or obtained within two years of hire.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- 7 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, with 3 years of department/unit/specialty-specific experience.
- Previous experience designing, facilitating, and validating education or training experiences.
- Fully proficient in all areas covered in Basic Integrated Nursing General Orientation; able to instruct independently.
- Proficient in EMR applications, workflows, documentation practices.
$58.20 per hour.
