Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts and territories while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales of capital material handling solutions to both industrial and commercial clients.
  • Achieve sales targets set by management.
  • Utilize effective time management and territory planning skills.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and opportunities.
  • Leverage direct mail, phone, and digital communication to engage with prospects and clients.
  • Generate leads through CRM interactions via calls and emails.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system regularly.
  • Follow up on existing leads and manage various sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals to address customer requirements.
  • Deliver presentations at client locations, showcasing the advantages of our products and services.
  • Engage actively with the CRM program to enhance sales processes.
  • Execute planned sales calls effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and utilize available resources to enhance product knowledge.
  • Review proposals with management and seek their involvement in key sales discussions when necessary.
  • Submit completed quotes for administrative review and ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrate products at customer sites as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop sales strategies that exceed client expectations.
  • Offer customized financing solutions tailored to individual customer needs.
  • Focus on job-site requirements and promote our extensive rental equipment offerings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in industrial equipment sales is advantageous.
  • Professional and courteous interaction with customers and colleagues is essential.
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
