Job Title: Administrative Support Coordinator

About Us: Governors State University seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Administrative Support Coordinator in our Department of Social Work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Department of Social Work, including calendar management, scheduling appointments, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Assist with planning and executing special events, such as conferences and seminars.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Chair or Director.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
