About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will provide leadership through collaboration with the Director/Designee to plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the care provided for patients. This role will involve delivering care based on age-appropriate criteria and addressing the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of individual patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
  • Assist with staff scheduling. Manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements:

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure. Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required. Graduate of a certified school of nursing.
