Company Overview: Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Financial Operations Analyst to enhance our team in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and scrutinize periodic financial data to monitor project and organizational financial execution.
  • Assist in labor and non-labor cost reporting, identifying erroneous charges, overruns, and other rejected inputs.
  • Compile monthly expenditure reports to assess funding appropriation obligations and expenditures against goals and established benchmarks.
  • Conduct fiscal year close-out and start-up analyses.
  • Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, ensuring alignment with approved project plans and budgets.
  • Prepare and compile additional ad hoc reports as required by the client.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis.
  • Extensive experience with U.S. Navy programs or operations is essential.
  • Proven experience in financial management utilizing Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems and tools, including Enterprise Data Warehouse and Navy ERP.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
  • Prior experience supporting NUWCDIVNPT, particularly within the Undersea Warfare Electromagnetic System Department, is a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Security Clearance: This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation.

Work Environment: The primary location for this role will be in Newport, RI, with minimal travel required within the continental United States.
