The East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator for Student Support Services. As an integral member of the NFCOZ Student Supports Team, the Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in realizing the objectives of the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CLC) initiative. This position involves overseeing programs and services at the Pell Elementary School, aimed at enhancing student access to enriching academic and extracurricular opportunities within the community during out-of-school hours.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and organizing Out-of-School Time (OST) activities.
  • Providing daily oversight of program participants and staff while fostering collaborative relationships with educational faculty, staff, and community organizations.
  • Encouraging parental involvement and supporting the growth of students' social and emotional learning skills.
  • Supervising students at community sites and facilitating their engagement in various activities, managing logistical aspects such as transportation and family communication.
  • Advancing NFCOZ initiatives and advocating for the mission and goals of EBCAP, the NFCOZ, and the CLC and OST programs.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field in human services.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with school-aged children and families, focusing on social/emotional learning, behavior management, program development, educational practices, family engagement, and recruitment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, community representatives, and volunteers.
  • Willingness to participate in relevant training and professional development.
  • Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, solve problems, and stay organized.
