Job Summary:

Position Overview:
The Assistant Professor of Interventional Cardiology will engage in a clinical role within an Interventional Cardiology service line. This position encompasses active participation in patient care and the education of medical students and residents in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings.

Involvement in clinical research and service activities is essential, along with a clinical background that meets the qualifications for faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The role will collaborate with existing administration to establish an operational practice framework.



Environmental Considerations:
Potential exposure to hazardous materials, temperature variations, and bloodborne pathogens.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds, as well as perform tasks that require bending, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

This is essential for fulfilling the responsibilities of an Interventional Cardiologist.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Medical Doctor (MD) degree required
  • Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma

  • Proficiency in clinical operations and electronic medical records management
  • Excellent analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
