Job Summary:
This position is funded through grants.
Role Description:
The Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy will take a leading role in managing and coordinating pharmacy services and educational initiatives within the Internal Medicine Specialty Services Clinic. This faculty member will be responsible for the education of medical students, residents, pharmacy students, and pharmacy residents.
The primary settings for clinical service and educational activities will be associated with OSU Physicians in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A significant focus will be placed on interdisciplinary training efforts facilitated by the OSU Center for Health Sciences.
This role will evolve through various committee assignments and projects as directed by the Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine.
Environmental Considerations:
Potential exposure to hazardous materials, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds; ability to stoop, reach, stand, walk, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Required:
Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) with 3-5 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
Completion of at least one year of Clinical Residency Training.
Licensed to practice pharmacy in Oklahoma.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening abilities, and managerial, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A collaborative approach to leadership and a commitment to high-quality service are essential.
Preferred:
Experience in HIV medicine, knowledge of Internal Medicine principles, Board Certification in Pharmacy, and familiarity with Epic EHR.
