Position Overview
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development of engineering deliverables and documentation, including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the engineering application of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Arc Flash Energy analysis utilizing Easy Power.
  • Design electrical distribution, lighting, and power systems.
  • Effectively communicate design alternatives to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Provide engineering leadership and guidance to the project team.
  • Independently assess and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete projects from initial concepts through to construction.
  • Oversee electrical load calculations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Utilize interdisciplinary knowledge to facilitate coordination across various engineering disciplines.
  • Edit and write specifications, contributing to the establishment of standards.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and equipment selection.
  • Perform site visits and generate reports on findings.
  • Implement the project quality management plan (QMP).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and LEED accreditation.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the AEC industry.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical engineering principles and project phases.
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with AutoCAD/Revit and Easy Power.
