OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and enhancement of our advanced energy systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in the areas of renewable energy, battery storage, and power conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design and development of both digital and analog electronic systems for high-power applications.
  • Conduct product-level electrical design, including component selection, circuit design, and PCB layout using Altium.
  • Oversee prototype development, debugging, and functional verification.
  • Collaborate with product management to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
  • Create comprehensive electrical design specifications and manage product introduction processes.
  • Develop and implement hardware and system testing protocols to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Work alongside mechanical engineers to enhance the overall electro-mechanical design.
  • Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to ensure quality and reliability standards are met.
  • Support manufacturing partners in sourcing and qualifying production testing equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with substantial industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, focusing on both digital and analog systems.
  • Proficient in AC/DC power conversion, motor control systems, and embedded control theory.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
  • Familiarity with software tools for developing digital interfaces and signal processing.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication technologies and EMI/EMC design principles.
  • Understanding of international safety standards and regulations related to electrical products.
  • A strong desire to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work at heights and navigate ladders or stairs.
