We are currently enhancing our Outpatient Program tailored for Adolescents and Young Adults. As a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive assessments, case management, and therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting engaging group therapy sessions.
  • Updating and refining treatment plans.
  • Implementing personalized goals and objectives for each patient's treatment.
  • Coordinating care with educational institutions, legal representatives, and other healthcare providers.
  • Fostering community relationships and networking within the mental health and substance use fields.

This position is designed for direct care and operates from our office environment. It is a part-time role, requiring approximately 15-20 hours weekly.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
  • A genuine passion for assisting young adults facing mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Strong understanding of SAMHSA/ASAM criteria.
  • Flexibility to work during late afternoons and evenings.
  • Bilingual communication skills are preferred.
  • Ability to perform direct care responsibilities.
