Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Avenues Recovery Center at Covington. As a member of our clinical team, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and provide support and guidance throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the recovery process
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and challenges
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification to practice in this role
  • Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Compassionate and dignified character that models recovery principles
