Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electronics Specialist to join our team at Kenny's Auto Accessories & Collision Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting a wide range of automotive electronic systems.

This includes audio systems, security systems, remote starts, CarPlay upgrades, multi-camera setups, radar, GPS tracking, LED light upgrades, light bars, and commercial vehicle lighting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and troubleshoot various automotive electronic systems, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate with management, coworkers, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Explain and demonstrate products to customers, with the ability to upsell additional services and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work efficiently in a team environment and independently, with minimal supervision, to meet project deadlines and deliver results.
  • Maintain installation parts inventory and ensure a clean and safe work area, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Be open to working overtime as required to meet project demands and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Current MECP Master Certification or Installer Academy Credentials (or equivalent) in automotive electronics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable installation and troubleshooting experience with a diverse product mix, including brands such as Kicker, Alpine, Compustar, Directed, K-40, Advent, Rostra, and Brand Motion.
  • Previous customer service and sales experience is a plus, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • We are looking for a highly capable technician with the drive to excel and earn more, with leadership potential and a strong work ethic.
