Key Responsibilities:
- Align with all organizational goals, strategies, and core values.
- Ensure confidentiality in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Exemplify professional conduct, appropriate boundaries, and respectful communication in line with the organization's dress code.
- Deliver primary therapeutic services to all assigned clients.
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
- Timely and accurately complete all necessary clinical documentation, including assessments and progress notes, adhering to organizational policies.
- Facilitate therapeutic group sessions for residential clients as designated.
- Monitor client behavior and adherence to established rules and policies.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation as required.
- Engage in treatment team meetings and clinical staffing discussions.
- Continue outpatient services for clients who successfully transition from residential treatment.
- Establish effective working relationships with external stakeholders involved in client treatment.
- Assist in organizing and planning graduation ceremonies for clients.
- Support the enhancement of the agency's capacity to address co-occurring disorders in line with integrated service initiatives.
- Enforce facility regulations consistently and fairly.
- Maintain security within the facility and assist in basic crisis intervention when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing educational and professional development programs.
- Stay informed about agency policies, procedures, and training requirements.
- Maintain and enhance competencies related to substance use disorders through continuous education and practical application of learned skills.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.
This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position. Duties and expectations may evolve over time.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a current LADC, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license in Oklahoma, or actively pursuing licensure under supervision.
- A Master's degree in behavioral science or a related discipline.
- Completion of ASI and ASAM PPC-2R training by an ODMHSAS-certified trainer within the last five years.
- A minimum of two years of experience in substance abuse treatment.
- Proficient in delivering integrated, evidence-based addiction treatment for clients with co-occurring disorders, with the ability to build therapeutic relationships.
- Experience in providing both individual and group counseling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- If required to drive a company vehicle, a valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record are necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain seated for extended periods.
- Job duties may require twisting, lifting, standing, walking, stretching, kneeling, bending, and squatting.
