Job Overview

Position Summary: Deliver essential therapeutic interventions to women who are pregnant or parenting within a residential framework. Foster empowerment, recovery, and community integration by employing best practices, evidence-based methodologies, and integrated approaches for women facing co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the core goals, strategies, and values of Palmer Addiction Recovery Services.
  • Ensure confidentiality in line with organizational policies and relevant legal standards.
  • Exemplify professional conduct, appropriate boundaries, and respectful communication in accordance with the Employee Dress Code.
  • Provide primary therapeutic services to all assigned clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation, including assessments and progress notes, promptly and accurately, adhering to Palmer's Policies and Procedures.
  • Facilitate therapeutic group sessions for residential clients as designated.
  • Monitor client behavior and adherence to facility rules and regulations.
  • Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation as required.
  • Engage in treatment team meetings and clinical staffing discussions.
  • Continue outpatient services for clients who successfully transition from residential treatment.
  • Establish effective working relationships with external stakeholders involved in client care.
  • Assist in organizing and planning graduation ceremonies for clients.
  • Support the agency's efforts to manage co-occurring disorders in line with the Integrated Services Initiative.
  • Enforce facility regulations consistently and fairly.
  • Maintain security within the facility and provide basic crisis intervention as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training programs.
  • Stay informed about agency policies, procedures, and training requirements.
  • Maintain core competencies related to substance use disorder treatment through continuous education and application of learned skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or Director.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as LADC, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Oklahoma, or working under supervision towards licensure.
  • Master's degree in behavioral science or a related discipline.
  • Trained in ASI and ASAM PPC-2R by an ODMHSAS-certified trainer within the last five years.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in substance abuse treatment.
  • Proficient in delivering integrated, evidence-based addiction treatment for clients with co-occurring disorders, with a focus on building therapeutic alliances.
  • Experience in individual and group counseling settings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • If operating a company vehicle, must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, remain seated for extended periods, and view a computer screen for prolonged durations.
  • Job involves physical activities such as twisting, lifting, standing, sitting, walking, stretching, kneeling, bending, and squatting.
